The Lake Hopatcong Alliance is a volunteer-driven effort; your help does and will make a difference. Please consider joining an interest committee on the Lake Hopatcong Alliance! The Lake Hopatcong Alliance is currently looking for volunteers to help with the following committees: Weeds - Reviewing Lake Hopatcong’s current program and investigating possible alternatives. Committee Chairs: Steve Gebeloff and Ron Sorensen Water Quality - Reviewing storm water runoff, other contributors to Lake Hopatcong, as well as invasive species. Committee Chair: Ray Fernandez Funding - Research and recommendation of a long-term funding plan for Lake Hopatcong. Committee Chair: Yanique Thorman Fundraising and Events - Organizing member events and fundraisers to support the work of the Lake Hopatcong Alliance. Committee Chair: Maria Pappas Membership - Recruiting new members of the Lake Hopatcong Alliance. Political - Involving and leveraging public officials in support of Lake Hopatcong. Committee Chair: Nancy Blakney Travel and Tourism - Enhancing travel, tourism, and recreation at Lake Hopatcong. Committee Chair: Eric Seal Marketing and Communications - Communicating with Alliance membership and the public-at-large. Committee Chair: Becca Fernandez
